Local businesses are invited to come together and attend the inaugural Better Business Partnership Conference Series and Symposium or BBP CON-X 2016.
Consisting of three events the BBP CON-X 2016 is a festival of innovation, new ideas and a celebration of success stories. The three part business conference series will promote and celebrate sustainable and prosperous business growth on the North Shore.
“Attendees will hear and interact with thought leaders, business innovators and government leaders and have the opportunity to network with other businesses at this new and free of charge business conference” said Councillor Jennifer Anderson, Mayor of Ku-ring-gai.
The first event, ‘Business Unusual’ will be held Tuesday 18 October at 6pm. The series will launch at the Northside Conference Centre with the keynote address delivered by Rodin Genoff, author and award winning, globally recognised thought leader.
The second event, ‘Better Businesses make dollars and sense’ will be held Monday 31 October at 6pm. Tom Dawkins, leading social entrepreneur from Waverton will share his inspiring story of creating a crowdsourcing platform for humanity. This event will feature the launch of the new BBP Community Support Directory – an online platform to facilitate the connection of businesses with non-profit community groups to work together for social benefit.
The third event ‘The North Shore Symposium’ will be held Tuesday 15 November at 6pm. The culmination of BBP CON-X 2016 at the Zenith Theatre in Chatswood will feature an impressive line-up of urban design and planning leaders that will share their ideas for the future of the North Shore and invite audience input.
